Oil Change: The Filter Needs Replacing

Most people would rather have a Mercedes than a Honda, but not so if you are a car thief. Out of the $1million cars that are stolen last year (2008) in the US, more than 55,000 were Honda Accords. This was reported by the National Insurance Crime Bureau.

This unused fuel that you paid for is literally being wasted and cooked by your catalytic converter. Why? Because your cars engine isn’t efficient enough to utilize all that dino goop, so the EPA made the catalytic converter an automotive standard. Well, not all is lost… if you use HHO, you not only burn and put to work all that otherwise unused fuel, you also emit cleaner emissions.

My van was returned to me that day. My cooling off period was extended, I had the 30 dealer warranty and the repairs were made. Curious as to what needed to be fixed? He is the list: the catalytic converter price guide, several sensors, the transmission, the alignment was out, two tires were worn, it needed an oil change, the gas cap was missing and my cup holder was broken. By the time my repairs were done, my $8,999 van was worth a total of $15, 127! I got a practically new van after all the work was done! Then 2 days before the dealer warranty was up, I took it back in and got a new belt in the motor. I got a lemon and made lemonaide, you can too!

I looked around for Hydrogen Cat kits which help your car run on water but don’t assert to pull it off of gas permanently. This is a more acceptable option. I am quite aware how cars work and what are the emissions. Most people may know about recycle catalytic converters, a little device in the car. It is fitted in the exhaust pipe of the car and gets really hot soon only because the car engine doesn’t really burn all the gas. Most part of the gas discharge toxic and half burnt stew.

For individuals who have a car in fairly good condition, there might be a possibility of Getting good money for your car. This shall all based on the requirement for the type By car you wish to sell. It doesn’t matter much whether your catalytic converter recycler car is old or it hasn’t been registered in an extended time. Mainly cars which are Paid cash can be sold off to a junk yard and at least a little sum Of money can be earned. BY considering the variation in the price of steel and other metals, there would be a good amount of cash. An old or damaged car might be worth between $200 – $5000 and in a few cases more to the right vendor.

Basically you want similar plugs as stock, but a cooler heat range and a smaller gap. The stock plugs are NGK BKR6EP-11 (2978) and are platinum tipped and have a .044 (1.1mm) gap. The ideal NGK replacement for a modified Supra would be the BKR7E (6097). It is one range cooler (the ‘7’), is non-platinum tipped (the lack of the ‘p’) and has a smaller .0315 gap (lack of the ‘-11’). This plug is also called the NGK 6097 and they are fairly inexpensive. Platinum tipped plugs are not desired for high power applications, Iridium plugs are more preferred. Unfortunately their doesn’t seem to be a BKR8E which might be better for high-HP Supras.

Once you have determined the best choice have an oil change. Many mechanics recommend switching from 10W30 to 5W30 during freezing weather. The lower viscosity of the lubricant allows it to flow more quickly at very low temperatures. In addition to changing the weight you use consider using high quality lubricant if you don’t already. Many companies make a lubricant specific for winter or cold climates and it will reduce damage to the engine when it is started on freezing days.

If you are faced with this kind of situation, you should try to check if it is attached very thinly, then you should try to break if off. Keep in mind that before you do touch your car’s exhaust pipe, make sure that it is cool enough to touch or you might just get burnt in the process. On the other hand, if you cannot break it off, look around for a wire coat hanger or a mechanic’s wire. Wrap this around one end of the hanging pipe and then fasten the other end to the underside of your car. This should keep it in place right up until you bring your car to the muffler shop.
