Last week I wrote an article about The Ultimate Basement Floor which received a tremendous amount of interest. Based on the feedback I’m going to write a series of articles addressing the issues that property owners have in their basements.
Concrete Solutions Plus is a decorative concrete company that specializes in different finishes. Why not do something different to concrete rather than adding a flooring material.
Wood and concrete. Most people don’t realise that wood does not stick to concrete until it is too late, and their post is shaking its way free from the base. Wooden forms are often used in concreting work because they fall straight away once the job is complete. Roofing tar or other materials can be used to coat the portion of the post that will be placed in the concrete to make sure it will stick. This also helps against it rotting. Make sure that you give your posts a minimum of a full day to rest in the concrete. Messing with your posts too early will cause weaknesses that will be exasperated later.
The shorter your grass the more evaporation will take place. If you set the blades on your lawnmower up slightly, your longer lawn will retain much more water.
Green (25 degree) – This is the primary washing nozzle. It is used for general cleaning when maximum power isn’t needed. Think of this as a medium power nozzle. Also used for sweeping leaves, debris and caked dirt from brisbane decorative concrete and sidewalks.
I work at trying to help contractors refocus their business. Those that follow the concept of specializing in small markets are seeing their business succeed.
In conclusion select the garden shed foundation that best suits your situation. If the ground is sloping then the post and beam method will be ideal. In most cases this method will be a cheaper option than a concrete pad. A concrete pad is best suited for flat ground, provides greater stability and supports heavy weights. Whatever method you use check your plans to get the measurements correct, and test the diagonals are the same length so that your shed corners are square. You may or may not need planning consent but before you start building it pays to check.
